Di-tert-butyl peroxide (DTBP) is used as a high-temperature initiator for high-pressure polyethylene polymerization and a polystyrene polymerization initiator.

Initiator A is also used as a cross-linking agent and molecular weight regulator for unsaturated polyester and silicone rubber, and is especially suitable for cross-linking PEX pipes.

This product can also be used as an additive for diesel fuel and an anti-coagulant for transformer oil.
