Application and advantages

3,5,5-Trimethylhexanoyl peroxide (Initiator K) is the most commonly used initiator for LDPE tubular or kettle polymerization. In order to obtain a wider polymerization temperature range, it is often used in conjunction with other initiators. The polymerization temperature is 150-190℃. It is also an initiator for vinyl chloride polymerization by aqueous suspension method, with an initiation temperature of 50-70°C.
