Usage: This product is used as an accelerator for natural rubber, synthetic rubber and latex. Because it can decompose free sulfur when heated, it can also be used as a vulcanizing agent, and the effective sulfur content is 25% of its mass. When used as vulcanizing agent, it is relatively safe at operating temperature, and the vulcanized rubber has excellent heat resistance and aging resistance.
This product can be used as the main accelerator in chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber, styrene butadiene rubber and butyl rubber. It is especially suitable for nitrile butadiene rubber when combined with thiabil accelerators. The vulcanizate has excellent compression deformation and heat resistance. Latex sponge is made by using the accelerator MZ(2-mercaptan benzothiazole zinc salt). This product is easily dispersed in dry rubber and also easily dispersed in water. No pollution. Generally used to manufacture heat-resistant products, cables and so on. When used as vulcanization agent in natural rubber and general synthetic rubber, the amount is 1 to 3 parts, and when used as the second accelerator of thiazole accelerator, it is 0.1 to 1 part. In butyl rubber, the dosage is 2 to 5 parts as vulcanization agent, and 0.5 to 2 parts as main accelerator.
