Application and advantages

Stearic acid, also known as CARBOXYLIC ACID C18, is widely used as a vulcanization activator for natural rubber, synthetic rubber (except butyl rubber) and latex. It is also used as a cold-resistant plasticizer and softener, stabilizer, and release agent for plastics.
This Activator can form soluble salts with metal oxides to increase the ability of metal oxides to activate accelerators. This product can reduce the roller sticking phenomenon during mixing in the rubber compound and contribute to the dispersion of carbon black.
When used as a vulcanization activator, the dosage is generally 0.5 to 2 parts. When used in excessive amounts, it is easy to bloom, reduce adhesion and delay vulcanization.
