1.MMB（MMBI）is mainly used as a synergist for other antioxidants. The combined effect of MMBI and other antioxidants is often better than the sum of their individual effects.
2. MMBI itself is a medium-strength, non-polluting antioxidant, especially suitable for rubber compounds containing ultra-fast accelerators and heat-resistant rubber compounds that do not contain sulfur but contain TMTD.

Application and advantages

Rubber antioxidant MMB(MMBI)can be used in natural rubber and synthetic rubber. It has a synergistic effect when used together with other antioxidants. When used in sulfur-free vulcanization, it has good heat resistance.
It can also be used as a vulcanization accelerator for chloroprene and a heat treatment agent for rubber compounds. It is an auxiliary antioxidant and has a good synergistic effect when used together with other antioxidants.
Antioxidant MMB is easily dispersed in rubber but has low solubility, does not discolor in sunlight, and is slightly polluting. MMB(MMBI) can be used not only for white and light-colored products but also for rubber wires and cables, transport belts, tapes, rubber shoes, etc. However, it is not suitable for rubber products in contact with food.
