Are vulcanization accelerators dangerous

Jan 24, 2024 Leave a message

The vulcanization accelerator itself is not a dangerous product, but a chemical used in rubber processing. However, due to some potentially dangerous properties of vulcanization accelerators, extra care is needed when storing and using them:

Flammable and explosive: the vulcanization accelerator will cause an explosion in case of fire or high temperature, so it should be kept away from the fire or high temperature places.
Irritant: the vulcanization accelerator is irritating to the skin and eyes of the human body, and should be cleaned in time and washed with water after contact.
Toxicity: Some vulcanization accelerators are harmful to the human body, and inhalation or ingestion may cause harm to the body.
