Rubber accelerator use tips

Generally, acidic accelerators (A) or neutral accelerators (N) are used as the main accelerators, that is, thiazoles and secondary sulfonamide accelerators. Thiuram as the main accelerator is generally used in effective and semi-effective vulcanization systems. Dithiocarbamate accelerator as the main accelerator, often used in latex products and butyl rubber. Secondary accelerators generally use alkaline accelerators such as DPG, H, etc. Its function is to activate and promote each other. When secondary sulfonamides are used as primary accelerators, secondary accelerators are generally not selected. Because this accelerator can decompose the accelerator M and amine compounds at the vulcanization temperature, M is an acid accelerator, and amine compounds are an alkali accelerator. A combination of acid and base (AB) system is formed, but in order to speed up the vulcanization rate, a small amount of accelerator DPG or Thiuram type accelerator can be used. The amount of accelerator DPG is generally 10% of the main accelerator, and when the amount is too high, the vulcanization rate will have a downward trend.
