Rubber antioxidant BBM (BBMC) can protect natural rubber and synthetic rubber from thermal oxygen aging, light and ozone aging. It is used in white and colored products, with a dosage of 0.5%~5.0%.

This product is also used as a heat-resistant and light-resistant stabilizer for polyethylene, polypropylene, copolymers of acrylonitrile, butadiene and styrene, and polyacetal. Can be mixed with polyamide, dilauryl thiodipropionate, organotin compounds, and phosphites. Dosage 0.01%~0.5%.

4,4'-Butylidenebis (6-tert-butyl-3-methylphenol) can also be used as a heat stabilizer in the chemical fiber industry. The dosage for polyamide fiber is 0.1%~0.5%.
