Application and advantages
Compared with the accelerator ETU, the accelerator MTT(3-methylthiazolidine-2-thione)does not produce mustard gas and has a faster vulcanization speed. While this product maintains the good physical properties and aging resistance of the accelerator ETU vulcanized chloroprene rubber, it also improves the scorch performance and operational safety of the rubber, and has faster vulcanization characteristics.
MTT is easily dispersed in rubber, does not pollute, and does not discolor. It is usually used in the manufacture of cables, tapes, rubber shoes, tires, and colorful products.
